About the team
Agent Runtime is a small, senior team building one of the most consequential layers of the Apragya platform. You'll work directly with the founders and the engineering / product leads - decisions are made in days, not quarters.
What you'll do
- Ship end-to-end features across our backend (FastAPI / PostgreSQL) and frontend (Next.js 14) - we hire generalists, not silos
- Design APIs, data models, and runtime behavior that work for hundreds of tenants out of the box
- Own a slice of the platform - production, on-call, customer escalations, the works
- Write the AI integration patterns the rest of the team builds on top of
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building production software, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise systems
- Strong with at least one of: Python / TypeScript / Go - and a deep familiarity with relational databases
- Track record of owning a system from design to production, not just shipping features
- Comfortable working across the stack and across teams - we're small and the layers blur
Nice to have
- Prior experience in early-stage startups - you've seen what works and what doesn't
- Open-source contributions or technical writing that shows how you think
- Familiarity with our stack (Next.js 14, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Celery, Claude API)
