For tenants with a dedicated BI / analytics team, the platform offers a read-only data connection your BI tool can query directly. No more re-exporting; the warehouse is always live.
What's available
- Power BI - via the Apragya AI Power BI connector (PBI marketplace)
- Tableau - via JDBC connector + Apragya's Tableau Web Data Connector
- Looker - via the Apragya AI Looker block
- Snowflake / Databricks - via the platform's hourly Parquet sync to S3/GCS, then your warehouse reads from there
- Generic - any tool that speaks Postgres protocol can use the read-only Postgres proxy
Set it up
- Sidebar > Admin > Data > BI Connectors
- Pick your BI tool from the list
- Follow the per-tool walkthrough - generally a one-time OAuth or token setup
- Connection appears in your BI tool's data source list within 5 minutes
BI connectors honour RBAC - what your BI account can query reflects the role you map it to. Most tenants create a dedicated 'BI service account' with all-read access; some scope it tighter (e.g., "BI can read Finance + CRM but not HR"). Set up the service account first.
