How do I connect Slack to my tenant?

OAuth flow, workspace selection, channel mapping.

Connecting Slack lets your Apragya AI agents and apps send notifications into Slack channels, capture incoming Slack messages as tickets, and (with a Workspace admin's approval) post messages as a real Slack bot.

Set it up

  • Sidebar > Admin > Integrations > Connectors > Slack > Connect
  • Slack's OAuth screen opens; pick the workspace you want to connect (your Slack workspace admin needs to consent)
  • Approve the requested scopes - send messages, read messages from selected channels, files, users
  • After approval, you're back in Apragya with the connection marked active

Map channels to events

  • Sidebar > Admin > Integrations > Channel Mappings
  • New Mapping > pick the event (e.g., 'agent run completed', 'invoice over threshold')
  • Pick the Slack channel to receive it
  • Save - the next event of that type posts to the mapped channel
If you only need outbound notifications (Apragya sends to Slack), the basic scopes are enough. For inbound (Slack messages create Apragya tickets), you need the read scopes for the relevant channels - your Slack workspace admin grants these per-channel.

Troubleshooting

  • "Connection succeeded but no messages arrive" - check Sidebar > Admin > Integrations > Slack > Connection Test. It posts a test message to the default channel
  • Token revoked by Slack? You'll see a banner at the top of the Integrations page; click Reconnect to redo OAuth
