Contract Management is the legal-and-procurement slice of Apragya AI. Templates, drafts, redlines, approval routing, e-signature integration, renewal reminders, repository search. Built around a Contract record with its full version history; every revision is a snapshot, every comment is auditable.
The contract lifecycle
- Template - tenant-authored, with merge variables (party names, dates, amounts, clause selections)
- Draft - generated from a template + structured inputs, editable in the platform's rich-text editor
- Review - routed to internal reviewers (legal, finance, the deal team); inline comments + redlines
- Approve - HITL gate; routes by amount/risk-tier/contract-type
- Sign - e-signature via DocuSign / AdobeSign / native signature; signed PDF stored on the record
- Renew - automatic reminder fired N days before expiry, with renewal draft pre-staged
Bundled AI agents
- Clause Comparator - compares a drafted contract against your standard template; flags departures + their severity
- Risk Flagger - reads incoming counterparty paper and surfaces high-risk clauses (uncapped liability, broad IP assignments, non-standard termination)
- Renewal Reminder - fires N days before expiry, drafts the renewal contract, routes to the responsible owner
- Redline Assistant - applies your team's preferred edits to counterparty paper based on past redlines on similar clauses
Configure on day one
- Templates - load from the marketplace or upload your own (MSA, NDA, SOW, employment, vendor)
- Clause library - your team's pre-approved clause variants for fast assembly
- Approval matrices - by contract value, contract type, party type
- E-signature provider - DocuSign / AdobeSign connection (one-time OAuth)
- Renewal reminder windows - global default + per-contract-type overrides
Contracts and their version history are stored encrypted at rest with per-contract access-key derivation. Even SaaS Admins can't read contract bodies without the tenant-level master-key acknowledgement - logged in audit_logs every time.
